…from a woman who had never had a passport til 2006?
That’s a good question on its own really (thanks Deus!).
Perhaps you would expect a… $150,000 shopping spree using the GOP credit card?

I got it from a Dutch blog about the elections, which actually has a funny Palin before/after at the bottom:

Oh, and whomever recommended catching up on Sinfest (Olli,Deus?), thanks a lot! That was an awesome read…
To be quite honest, does it really matter what they spend their money on? I’m always surprised by the amounts of money that goes to waste for a campaign. Spending money on the appearance of your running mate doesn’t seem so odd and might be worth more than spending the same amount on online banners or in-game advertisement
$150,000 is a ridiculous lot of money just for clothing though. Also, it’s a ridiculous notion that a political party gets to pay for what you look like.
I mean, what do we get next? GOP sponsored boob jobs? O_o
It is apparently more than the money spent on McCain, Obama and Biden combined.
It is also pretty bad taste for a candidate that prides herself on being so good on reform, a campaign that prides itself on trying to stand up to special ineterests and do away with pork barrel earmarks (McCain accused Obama dozens of times of doing that).
Also she is supposed to be this down to earth middle class no nonsense woman who understands the normal people. Hell, her wardrobe could support the 3 families of the normal people through a whole year with ease…
