Well… apparently the Wikipedia page of Star Wars Holiday Special is longer than the Wikipedia page of Life, so I guess the Star Wars Holiday Special wins with 1-0

So, this morning I took a look at my multi-supercomputer simulation program again, which featured a highly crucial bug that I was unable to track down for a month or so.
However, today I am apparently greater than my own existence, as my brain is now powered by H1N1 (or H1N3, or H1N5?) viral fuelage. And look and behold, whereas my healthy counterpart klutzes around with parallel gdb and highly complicated and sophisticated riff-raff I, the diseased remains of what once was an individual, track and kill this bug (+4 others so far) using the fine art of std::cout acupuncture.
BORG Mothership, I am ready. Please assimilate me now!

Am I the only person who tends to suffer from this?
Yesterday we jammed with the band, but this time Olli brought one of our own amps for the keyboard, and we used that thing instead of the standard backline. The difference in sound quality was unbelievably huge!
You know… jamming with a keyboard is so much more fun when your samples do *not* sound like sandpaper grinding against asphalt.
Due to the site migration I accidentally lost one blogpost about the 10 year anniversary of my very first website. Either way, if you want to see it you can still find it at http://www.angelfire.com/on/devlyn.
Aside from that, I’m quietly recovering from yesterday night

…is a wonderful thing to do. Aerdenhout is full of woods and has a very nice physical setting. Many of the people here, however seem a little…off. Perhaps there is more than meets the eye here? *imagines shocking revealing headlines*
In other news, I will have two weeks off after tomorrow
..
…if I can finish my work properly by then

Last year I saw Sonata Arctica and Vanishing Point both live in one show. There was one song I really hoped they would play, but they didn’t.
However, they did play it in Oberhausen. With they being Vanishing Point and Tony Kakko
. It’s a shame the sound quality is so utter crap, but it sounds just awesome anyhow!
..will have to wait a bit, as I’m drowning in work at the moment
. But other than that things are going fine. I’ve just been spending some time on deliverables, demo’s presentations etc.
..but more work on this new location has yet to be done
